Micron Optics, Inc, an established leader of innovative optical components and laser-based equipment, announced the promotion of Todd Haber to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the hiring of John Floyd as Director of Product Development.
As CTO, Mr. Haber’s charge is to enhance the efficacy and reach of Micron Optics’ products and relationships, enabling complete, reliable measurements solutions in variety of application spaces.
Mr. Haber, formerly Vice President of Product Development at Micron Optics, joined the company in 1998 as a Member of the Research and Development staff. While at Micron Optics, Mr. Haber has also served as Lead Test and Measurement Engineer, and Technical Manager of the Instrument Development Group.
“I look forward to working with industry partners, vendors and customers to ensure that MOI products and practices represent the best tools available for implementation of optical measurement systems that bring real value to end users,” commented Mr. Haber.
John Floyd will lead Micron Optics world-class development teams and product Time-to-Market efforts, including the introduction of industry-leading processes in product development, program management, and product pipeline management. Prior to joining Micron Optics, Mr. Floyd was the Director of Research and Development for several divisions of Stryker Corporation, a global medical device company. Mr. Floyd has also led New Product Introduction engineering at CIENA Corporation.
